You know what is it about religion that classifies people, I really don’t understand what makes you so much better to a group that will accept you just because your beliefs are with theirs. There's no time for us,
There's no place for us,
What is this thing that builds our dreams,
Yet slips away from us.
Who wants to live forever,
Who wants to live forever, .....?
There's no chance for us,
It's all decided for us,
This world has only one sweet moment
Set aside for us.
Who wants to live forever,
Who wants to live forever, .....?
Now touch my tears with your lips,
Touch my world with your fingertips,

And we can love forever,
Forever is our today.
Who wants to live forever,
Who wants to live forever, .....?
Who waits forever anyway?

1.) People need to be able to relate. People do this everyday with all kinds of stuff, from saying if they liked a movie, or if a pizza was good or not. With religion, they want to feel like they can relate to you. (Ever LOVE a movie, and have a friend despise it?)
2.) I think with Christianity a underlying core value is, "We're right, they're wrong, and you need to save your friends before it's too late for them." I've never agreed with this, even as a young child.
I myself, have never looked at people by their religion. I try very hard not to classify people, and it can be so frustrating when people have some preconcieved notion or they think they have you all figured out...before you've even begun. I hear you...my Dad's side of relatives think I'm the anti-christ.
And Sarah Brightman does have a beautiful voice. Thanks for the MP3s. :)
