Haha, "and then getting reprimanded for it."

Yeah, Pokemon's gonna have to be cancelled. Happens every year... Overzealous planning is slapped in the face with an empty wallet and a dwindling calendar...

Datamancer is absolutely amazing!! He makes me wish I were more technologically minded. I love the idea of having new technology be made to look old. :)

you can sew, don't be greedy :)

so how about this dumb idea. take modern character designs and victorianize them. for example: megaman.

light blue long sleeve shirt and pants. blue dyed leather gloves and boots. blue suspenders. and a helmet like this
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/93/Arian_helmet_1.jpg
painted blue with the ridge and crest painted light blue.

and instead of the arm cannon, you'd use a 19th century revolver.

not sure about the underwear shaped section though. can't think of a representative.

That's an amazing idea! Have you ever seen any costumes made in this way yet? Who are you?? :D

I think that sounds absolutely amazing. Steampunking something as round and modern as Megaman is also a great example.

I may be able to sew, but... I AM greedy! Hey, if you can sew, or even draw, you should put this idea into motion!
