Although I have complained about my iPod recently, one of its nicest features is the ease of which I can make a playlist on my computer. Here is one I compiled in my head whilst lying in bed fighting off the flu last night...

firstly, the Beatles are pure awesomeness. and were the greatest band of the 60s-- no, of all time! to suggest otherwise is to insert fun into the discourse which i am required to suck out!

but the beatles weren't all the british, no - george was too busy trying to be indian, paul was too busy trying to be american, and john was usually too busy trying to be high. still, i'd wager that the stones were the least british of the british invasion bands - they sounded pretty much like they wanted people to believe they were from philly.

also? choosing the kinks as the most british british invasion band is, like, cheating, since they were banned from the US for 5 years and became more british almost by default.

LOL. Good points, all. You're right about the Stones. I had completely forgotten about them. That's how least-British they were!
