I liked the comedy song that Will Farrell etc. did, and the Mac commercial style montage at the very beginning. But other than that, I agree, tres boring.

Not that I really get into the who-wore-what thing, but don't you think Helen Mirren looked STUNNING? She is so classy.

I'm soooo glad to see Helen Mirren get the credit she deserves as an actor on this side of the Atlantic. She's been doing amazing work in British TV and theatre for years. And yes, she did look amazing last night. Awesome. I loved it how Judi Dench didn't bother to show up. When Dame Judi doesn't think she has a chance at winning an Oscar, you MUST be good.
