I realized that in my everyday life, I have the unintentional effect of hurting those around me in weird ways. Before, it was my inaction and indecisiveness that hurt others. Now it's my haphazard ignorance of what doesn't seem to matter, and realizing it matters later on ( Read more... )

I hate lying scales. They used to tell me I was 230 lbs. when I was 5'3''... like in seventh grade... and now they still lie, only they give me too low a number, so i don't mind.

Yay for Frodo eyes.

I think it's a pretty good time for people right now. Things seem to be good, and getting better. We can hope anyway. Of course there are always going to be things that you do wrong, there are going to be things people don't like, and there will always be someone who you hurt, and things you didn't realize until too late. It's good that you're okay with that, but don't get stuck in a rut where you don't care enough to try to do something different next time. You can learn from the "too late's" and the mistakes that cause them. If you learn, then there was a point to it. If you don't then you're hurting people for no reason. Which sucks.

No matter where you go, there will be a critic. Remember people are all trying to decide how they want to be. You can help sometimes, but there are times you need to just help yourself.
