[Today, the Hagane returned to the Independence 1. But she was in absolutely horrendous shape. All of the weapons systems, the rear structure, and especially the engines are extremely bad off. That Lee... I'm actually surprised he's not a better guy deep down than his attitude suggests. Who the hell hired him?

He graduated from the naval academy at the top of our class. The higher-ups would have been insane at the time to refuse to let him into the service.
