ookay.. so here's the latest. i guess you can call it that.

she set out that morning with a feeling of indifference
-nothing new-
same slowass minivan crept its deathmarch
school yard missing children at play
sweettart smell of the garbage truck at the curb

i look up the street
take in a deep sigh
and wonder to myself "what else can happen?"

far too many idiots wearing reflective sunglasses
i shy away from their view
i'll stick to anonymity
my three-fingered stick figure says mediocrity at its best

the sun is radiating an unbearable heat but
i'll stick to anonymity
year wear your flag and i'll bear mine
do not read these words and think of me
by the time i'm gone my face will be long forgotten
this state, only a memory and the feeling will change
with the weather.

but the pit of my stomach mutters i can.]
