Sorry about Stella but don't worry about her! She's an adorable babe who will get a great home in no time at all. No Kill shelters usually have pretty strict policies on adoption as you know, she'll be safe!
I think it's very considerate of you to give her up. Most people would be selfish and keep her even though it's clearly not the best option for her happiness.

awww, i can't imagine how that must feel. giving up my cat would be the end of me. i hope she finds a good home as i'm sure she will. :D
