[Alex hadn't been out and about much since the whole punishment thing. He knew Anders was slowly healing himself and that Tsia was keeping to herself, but he'd been doing much of the same himself. He'd gotten a bit banged up when Derek had stopped him on the Green, and though he bore absolutely no ill will toward the Were, it still hurt and there were some bruises still fading to show for it; but then he'd hardly been pulling any punches during the fight either

[What'd happened at the punishment is partially why Derek'd asked Alex to come out. Though he'd absolutely do it again if it came to it, Derek still feels bad about what happened.

And he figures both of them could probably use a little bit of just, well, fun.]

At the edge of the forest, by the lake? I'll probably already have shifted.

[He hadn't seen him since that whole mess, and was a bit bruised up because of it, but it wasn't anything he blamed Derek for. He hardly expected Derek to just stand there and let him rip him to shreds.

So, Alex was limping a bit, but dealing with it like a big kid and not taking it personally in the slightest. So, with the warning that Derek will likely already have shifted, Alex leaves his journal and belongings back in his room and heads on out. He makes his way to the area where the forest meets the lake, ears cupped forward as he pads along the grounds in an almost silent manner.

As he approaches the given meeting place he slows his easy lope, his limp more noticeable at the slower pace. WHiskers fanning forward he scents the air, licking his tongue over his nose to better augment what he smells.]

[Cat vocal chords are still capable of speech, and though his voice is altered slightly due to it, it's still obviously his voice. That and Derek has run with him before and well knows

[Derek doesn't reply back, since he's already heading out to the forest to Change. Once he's finished, and after he leaves Chloe, he heads out towards the lake. His shoulder is still twinging a bit, among other things, and his movements are slower than normal because of it as well.

When he picks up Alex's scent and hears his voice, his tail gives a slight wag and he steps up the pace a bit. And then he spots him, and trots over cheerfully - at least until he notices the limp.

Then, he can't stop the soft whine that escapes.]
