what's okay to mention around him; More or less anything. He has very few mental triggers, because he's the type of person whose feelings or convictions will change at the drop of the hat, and without warning. Just talking to him is a risk in and of itself - but for all that's holy, do not use pet-honorifics on his name or reference the name "Heiwajima Shizuo".
notes for the psychics; god if you find something going on up there, for the love of god tell me because this one acts alone.
abilities; Above-average skill with a flickblade (he can leave cuts on a person's body so fast it barely looks like he's moved at all; in the manga he shaves a gangster's head bald before he even knows what happened). He's also a master traceur.
can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?; Oh sure, but be prepared to come back and find your body maimed/have your face kicked in/get carved into toothpicks.
hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact; He indulges groupies, but chances are he's kind of revolted by it.

4th wall; Durarara!! takes place in a world where popular japanese culture is prevalent, so chances are if lots of people are talking about it in the real world, he knows about it. He'll know the big pop-culture icons, but if it's something more obscure then chances are his attention-span is limited.
chatroom creeper; A lot of Izaya's info-gathering and creeping goes on via the internet. Under the guise of anonymity, he utilizes several different online personas to connect with other users and hand-pick his victims. While online he largely uses feminine speech and mannerisms, effectively pretending to be a girl without saying anything outright. His online handle is "Kanra" (played at kan_ra), which will be employed to invite users to chat with "her", getting to know them slowly. Think of her as an internet penpal - somebody you can vent to without the threat of backlash, who knows all sorts of juicy gossip! other fun stuff; IZAYA LOVES PEOPLE, and he proves he loves them by subjecting them to painful and degrading situations for his amusement, and then watching how they react in their futility. It is, at the moment, his #1 hobby - if you'd like to become one of Izaya's playthings, give me a shout, and we'll work something out. Usually it involves getting probed for info by Kanra, but I'm willing to improvise.
