(no subject)
It's been a while...so I thought I'd give a quick update.
At the beginning of the year, broke things off with the guy that I'd been seeing for over three years. It was sort-of mutual...and hard to explain...so I won't try. We didn't talk for a few months. A while back, a really bad tornado demolished about 60% of his town. Even though I hadn't talked to him in a long time, I was still really worried about him. I got a hold of him and found out he was fine...but he was visiting his daughter when it happend and got stuck in a little apartment that almost collapsed. We started seeing each other again...after MUCH talking about the past and what had happened with us...but, we have been taking things a lot differently this time. I wasn't ready to just jump into anything. I wasn't sure how I felt. I knew I loved him...but was it enough to make things work. Here I am...a couple months later...and I'm realizing more and more every day that this will never work. We're just on different paths in life. (How corny did that sound? lol) I think we both know it...even though we haven't said it out loud. We've been spending less and less time together...and less and less time talking. Either it will just fade away, or we're going to have to sit down and just talk about things and let it end.
I graduated from college earlier this month. FINALLY! My teaching certificate should come in next month. Now, I'm looking for a job. I've had two interviews...didn't get either position. I have applications in at several other places...so hopefully one of those will happen. If not, I'll probably just sub all next school year and then try again.
My parents are taking the family on vacation as a graduation present to me. We're leaving next weekend. We're driving to Florida. My aunt and uncle from Illinois are going to meet us there. We're going to Disney World for a week. Then we're going to St. Augustine for a couple of days. We're going to go on ghost walks. I can't wait!
Well...at the moment I can't think of anything else to update y'all on. If anything comes to mind I'll make another post.
