Oh, absolutely! I just wanted to get this series finished so that I wouldn't have to keep juggling two stories at once. I'm starting the next "In Dreams" chapter now.
There's an old Carpenters song that comes to mind that ends, "And love may grow for all we know."
Aww, I remember that song, too! *sniffle*
I had a similar thought regarding the line about the heart wanting. I've always loved it; it's from a voice-over by Scully at the end of the season 9 X-Files episode "Lord of the Flies":
In the struggle between our desire to determine who and what we will be and the identity which biology defines for us there can only be one outcome. But even in victory, there are forces biology cannot defeat: the stirring of the soul; the mysteries of desire; the simple truth that the heart wants ... what the heart wants.
...and it came to mind as I was writing and I thought, "Oh my god, I HAVE to cram that in somewhere." ;D
It's a great quote. I love it how occasionally meaningful and memorable lines appear on TV and the movies. I remember a whole bunch from Star Trek and BtVS/Angel and other shows. They don't always need to come from literature and poetry.
Thank you, Cafe! I'd give anything if I could draw; I'd make my own comic book with ResurrectedFred, and fill it with page after page of her and Spike being mellow together.

You've really turned me into a Spred 'shipper. Any chance now that this is finished that you'll go on with "In Dreams"?
