Ooh, I think even more than a pool, I'd love to have an elaborate luxury bathroom -- one with a long, wide tub that you could lie down completely flat in, and jacuzzi jets and about nine shower heads and dimmer lights and an inflatable pillow and a heating system that prevents the water from ever getting cold. :) We can go to public swimming pools if we don't have one ourselves, but we can't rent luxury bathrooms...and that's just wrong. ;)
It's been a blessing! The house is air-conditioned, but sometimes you hate to go in and sweat all over whatever comfy chair you've chosen to drop into. So when Sis is working in the yard and is almost done in by the heat, she'll frequently just set down her tools and jump into the pool fully clothed. Then she climbs out and goes back to work, cooled off and soaking wet. XD
Hee, I love plastic flamingoes. Back in the 1990s it became a fad to purchase a couple of dozen of them, sneak over at night to the home of a friend or co-worker on their birthday, and set the flamingoes up all over their lawn with a sign that read "You've Been Flocked."
Ah, but you've got your gorgeous ocean coast, and all that delicious sea food! It's a seven-hour drive from my town to the Texas coastline, and a two-hour drive to the nearest Red Lobster restaurant. And I love all the photos you post of your train & boat vacations! :D
Aww, I wish you were here to relax in it yourself! You deserve a long, lazy float. (There'd be cicadas screaming in the trees all around you, but you'd get used to that.) *hug*

Although not much use here where the rain would have it overflowing, and you'd be lucky to use it for a couple of days this year... Weather envy? Me?
