My gift to you: a yeast infection remedy

So, what do you do if your vaginal infection can't be cured with Diflucan, Flagyl, or Monistat?

And your doctor has ruled out some underlying condition that if treated, might possibly eventually help the vag infection?

Or your doctor can't even be bothered to look under a microscope?

Or maybe it's kind of a big deal for you to take off time from work to go to the doctor?

Or you simply can't get a day off in a timely manner? (without quitting your job).

Or you don't want to risk being put through the whole rigmarole of multiple doctor visits and failed treatment attempts and time lost, possibly for nothing?

What you gonna do now?? Try my thing. Dilute unfiltered apple cider vinegar about 6 parts water, 1 parts vinegar. douche twice a day. The next day, after douching, take refrigerated acidophilus pills, the ones in gel caps, open them and put the powder in your vagina. The next day, just put the powder in your vagina twice a day. Or do some similar variation if the process seems to be helping but you're not quite back to normal yet.

I really want to share this, because first of all, I'm proud of myself for finding a way to make my vagina not gross. Also, there's only so many things doctors are willing to try. They can often be unpleasant to deal with too. It's bad enough if docs can't help you, and it sucks if they give you a hard time and you start to doubt that you're being a hypochondriac on top of that. And who can afford some sort of naturopath or alternate doctor-type? and do the research/shopping around for an effective one? If I could give young girls advice, it'd be--try not to get a yeast infection in the first place, and have a Plan B if you're not lucky enough for the standard treatments to work for you.
