Have a good time. This spinning addiction is getting serious. The new one will be fun to spin up as well. Like the mittens.

All my addictions are serious! The nice thing about my fibre addiction is that I am still only one or two rovings ahead of myself! Unlike the yarn addiction...

those FA slivers are close enough in colour and will make great socks!

Odessa was my first acceptable hat. This one is my own pattern, so if I get it right, perhaps my hat drought will be over.

I might 2-ply the new rovings together so that the colours are more evenly distributed. I am thinking that as a long staple wool the Wensleydale will wear ok on my tootsies. I just discovered my first sock hole, in koigu socks of course.

here's hoping you'll outsmart hats.

yes, that will help even out the rovings. i'm pretty sure that i've heard that Wensleydale is good for socks.

sorry to hear about the hole...i keep meaning to teach myself how to darn! are you going to darn it or re-knit that part of the sock?

Just got back from my aunt's house, and the anonymous spinning wheel she has is none other than an Ashford Traditional!

!!!

!!!!

We get to have a go on it this weekend. I can't BELIEVE I left my rovings at home.
