Having decided not to monopolise the abandoned shack twice in as many weeks, Seely had snuck back early to his dorm, and spent most of the day moving his furniture out of the way before covering the floor with throws and cushions and lighting a number of lamps, as well as draping hangings on the walls and from the ceiling.

Finally he changed into his Archenlander clothes and, after turning off the lights, carefully arranged himself on a pile of cushions.
