Okay, three things.
This is amazing:
Wow, I cried forever.
After last season of skins, it is refreshing to see despression treated with such sensitivity and well, accuracy. I wish I could go back in time and be Vincent's frand :(
I do sort of hate the trope about people with mental illnesses have ~*special powers*~ but I think that the episode was trying to make it clear that he could see the alien because he was an artist who saw things differently, although that wasn't very clear. It's not like I am going to begrudge Doctor Qho for trying to be subtle though. Lord knows we could use more of that on this show.
I think this might be my favorite episode of the season thus far. It has everything I want. Fun history stuff, good use of their limited budget (an invidible monster was a good choice), lulz, and actually really effective emotional shit. That last scene in the Musee D'Orsay - I cried and cried. I would give almost anything to be shown that my life's work, all my efforts, would be appreciated.
day 06 - a song that reminds of you of somewhere
A More Perfect Union - Titus Andronicus
Almost any song I could pick would remind of being in transit somewhere - everything that I have a strong memory of happens in a car, I guess. The first time I heard this song, I was with a good friend driving home from school, on the BQE, laughing and having fun. And that's the memory I have each time I hear it.
day 07 - a song that reminds you of a certain event
Surrounded By Your Friends - Hooray for Earth
This is kind of cheating, but: two days ago, looking over at a boy I am smitten with, smiling, and talking about how good this band was without knowing who the fuck they were, and having him smile laugh and lean into me a little.
A more real answer is the Crystal Cat by Dan Deacon, which always makes me think of the first time I visited the college I now attend. It was really one of the best nights of my life.

On to the Next One - Jay-Z
I'm really fucking proud of this. I will burst into it at any given opportunity. I love Jay-Z, and I am way too invested in his marriage to Beyonce.
day 09 - a song that you can dance to
Je Ne Sais Quoi - Hera Bjork
This should have won Eurovision you european fucks.
day 10 - a song that makes you fall asleep
Jack Johnson. I don't know what song that is exactly, but all his music sounds exactly the fucking same to me.
