Yeah...um. I just got around to listening to Zelenka's Lamentations of Jeremiah and from the first phrase it's not only other worldly strange and disquieting it is unbelievably discordant, especially considering when it was written. In certain places it's impossible to tell the difference between the stringed instruments and the vocal instruments.
