Not super familiar with Roxy Music I for some reason got the urge to go and check out their stuff.

This is Ladytron. I like their stuff b/c it nearly stops making sense, but never quite gets there...

Roxy Music "Avalon" is THE definitive New Romantic record.

I love it. I just love it.

I have a retrospective (the name escapes me) of Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music. All their hits and best songs through the years. Very good.

Wow, you cleared a cobweb from my memory. Roxy Music and Tuxedo Moon were two groups I'd heard about but never got into. Perhaps it's time.

I have a Love/Hate relationship with Roxy. I really WANT to love them, but often times I find Bryan Ferry's vocals just kill it for me or that the songs feel undeveloped (to me). Although In Every Dream Home would be an exception and I think that that song is top notch! Seems to me, I even wanted to cover it at one time in The Divided, but no one was with me on it....or maybe it was with Blueprint that I wanted to do that...

I feel the same way about Jane's Addiction. I just don't love them as much as I want to. There stuff is weird for sure. Not all of it is great but it's so bizarre that I can't help like it. I was woefully unfamiliar with Roxy at that time. I'm not sure I would have understood it. I was all obsessed with phony authenticity.
