I really don't know what I sat down here intending to write. I'm listening to AJ being an elitist about video games - seems pretty silly to me. But AJ has to be up in arms about something, usually. I think it's like his safety valve - he argues with people all the time so that the people who actually piss him off don't seem as big or bad ( Read more... )

Weed huh? I have to ask, why would you want the questions away? I mean sure, it can seem like racking your brains for answers that you will probably never answer may seem like a waste of time, but questioning how the world is is the foundation of the world. The greatest discoveries of all time were made off questioning the world around you. Also, even if the BIG questions are never answered, you may find that in the exploration of your mind in the answering of these questions you will learn things about yourself that you never knew before. People who don't think or worry about the world around them often live quite content lives, but they became extremely mundane. I wish that I questioned things more because I find that I am more happy when I am questioning the world and trying to view it in a new perspective then droning it out with other things (such as video games.) I say that questioning is a gift, and for you to have any desire to stifle that is kinda sad. Although I can understand that it can be overwhelming at times, I have ( ... )

Normally, and as I'm sure you know, I love batting around the ol' philosophical ball. But that ball has been rattling around my skull for what seems like ages now. And it never leaves me alone. I just want a break sometimes.
