I was browsing the online internship resources at Hamline's website and one of the jobs I found recommended that I send in any piece of writing, including blogs, for them to get a feel for my writing style. Thank you as always for your words of encouragement Shalene :)

I sometimes have difficulty distinguishing between an outpour and a reflection.

The job application is an internship for a publishing company.

I know what you mean when stuff like that demands old writing samples.
I mean, I guess.. essays... maybe some news articles for the school paper. But sometimes those are hard to find (I haven't kept track of them very well sadly!)

And I dunno where those essays are. So I look online too - esp for personal writing samples. And I don't know. I'm kind of all over the place.

I'm feeling your pain with the job for cash vs experience thing too! Ahh..
Must get through finals first though :(.
