What's the problem with it at the moment? Is it doing the 'flashy red light thing' and not loading games?

It stopped working properly a while ago, but I took it apart and fixed it before I wrapped it. Apparently, this is very common and due to bad design. If it's the same problem I can send you links with instructions =)

When I insert a cartridge and turn it on, it just flashes screens alternating between various primary colours. IDK if it's the cartridges or the console - Adventure Island would work more reliably than the others, which made me think it was due to some of the cartridges just having problems, but lately I can't even get AI to work, so maybe it is a problem with the console?

BY the way, I'm not sure if I have actually said THANK YOU!!! yet - you cheeky buggers, sending it down with Jason! Oh well, I have plans for surprises for you two anyway.
