Starsky and Hutch
So, I don't know what the rules are about linking to fic you are about to recommend, therefore, if this is inappropriate, let me know.
I went diving for fanfiction this last weekend. Starsky and Hutch fanfiction (if you didn't already pick up on that by the title of this entry) but I just wasn't connecting to any of it. Some of what I started to read was well written, it just didn't pull me in, for some reason, or didn't have the depth of relationship I wanted to read about, ya know?
Until this.
The author's name is JoJo, found on the Bay City Library site. The tones she creates and the storytelling itself are both really incredible. Very well done. My favorites are the Getting a Grip series and Straighten Up and Fly Right. There is potentially disturbing content in each, so read with caution.
And also, I did some writing this weekend, off the cuff, frivolous, fanfiction writing on both the Supernatural wips. They are so close to done it's frustrating, especially because I'm not going to be able to work on them again for a while, (hangs head).
