Recipient: The lovely starflowers, for the prompt: melancholy fairy tales (not disney), bonus for unicorns who aren't quite what they should be, or little mermaids who aren't Ariel. First time fic with no established relationship. Hurt/comfort is my favourite, I love angst, but happy endings are a must (or else I get very sad.) Magic AUs are excellent, wingfic is a favourite.
Summary: A grouchy loner of a water elemental is happy enough with his life, until a young air sprite won't leave him alone.
