It's hard to say this.  So I'll just go ahead and do it.  I'm not in love with my ex.  But it kills me to hear him ranting about some gorgeous little woman he's met.  Does that make me a bad person?  I want him to be happy but after my own personal life went somewhat pear-shaped, I'm just wondering if it's the desire to drag other people down when ( Read more... )

Yeah well, me too. I want my friends, family, and (most of) my ex's to be happy. Doesn't stop me from being incredibly jealous and resentful when they are though.

I think its a pretty common, we usually want (most) ex's to be happy, but I think its a case that we want to be happy before them. We dont want to seem like the last to move on, or feel like we are just easily replaceable, especially when we have been the ones to end it.

Its normal to be jealous of other people's happiness, when your not getting the same deal.

Meh.. I'm over it.. I kept telling him he needs to move on and now he is. so I'm glad. Now it's time for me to sort my shit out :)
