I went browsing through Pages, a bookstore at Queen and John or something like that (it's across the street from MuchMusic) and they have big sections of indie magazines and literature as well as really nifty sections on design, architecture, photography, and art.

I don't like the colours and crowding. But it's strange how my web-idle habits are so different from my offline idling since if it was in paper and flippable pages form, I'd be eyebrows deep with popurls. As it stands now, I'll probably stick with my rss-threading.

The new one I found today: blogmusik. Hard to find anything obscure, but it's useful enough for scratching sudden itches.

You should look up State of Play. Because it's good. And it has James McAvoy. And he can really act in it.
