*HUGS* Thank you for posting this. I'm sad that Singapore has joined the scores of foreign press at being just slightly hysterical over the whole radiation thing and just the other day I got internally very offended by some salsa friends who were citing the horrors of radiation as part of the reason why they won't want to travel there (even though they are going to kyoto area), stuff like how you can't eat any of the food there and stuff. =_= Almost snapped at them.
The Fukushima 50 are my heroes. Their sacrifice and heroic manner are just... they make me tear everytime I think of them. *HUGS* meanwhile, stay safe (not from the radiation unless the situation gets worse, but in general, from the cold and any aftershocks) and we miss you dearly~
I'm still disgusted by the woman throwing a fit in the Cost Co over the Thai rice still being on the shelf when "it was that radioactive japanese crap". The news over here is very wierd. Our news people are saying that the Japanese are lying and it's all got to be 100 times worse than it really is and that the Japanese are 'just saving face' and all that old WWII propaganda crap. O_o
*hugs* I think the Japanese are showing the world what real humanity is.
