Oh, I love you. I want to pick out individual lines to fawn over, but then this comment would end up being longer than the excerpts themselves and would consist of a lot of of omg's, yes!'s, ilu's, oh-my-heart's, and !!!!!'s. I will say that concluding sentences for excerpts #1, #2, #4, and #5 all made my heart constrict, as did this line in #3:

Maybe Kris will act normal now, she thinks, although she already senses this isn’t going to be the case.

Really, #3 as a whole made my heart hurt in a good-yet-bad-yet-really-GOOD-wtf-is-wrong-with-me kind of way.

Oh, who am I trying to kid? EVERY SINGLE LINE OF EVERY SINGLE EXCERPT DID THIS TO ME.
