tutorial?
Hey everybody. :) Just had a thought. Anyone interested in getting into icon making but can't afford an expensive program like Photoshop? As most of you know, I make quite a few icons in my spare time, and up until very recently, I had to use a free program called Paint.Net since I'm a very poor person in general. ;) But with the right tools, you can make some pretty awesome icons using a basic, free program like that.
So, anyone want a tutorial? I see these all the time for icons made with Photoshop or whatever, but I've never seen any for free programs like Paint.Net or even GIMP. So, anyone want to know my secrets? ;) I've used Paint.Net for a while not only for icons, but general picture editing also. For instance:

I think it's pretty nifty. :P So yeah, if anyone wants a tutorial, feel free to peruse my community breakthesky89 for any icons you really like, or you can look through my uploaded user pics, since most of the icons I use are my own. If no one picks any, I'll probably just pick a few myself and make a couple tutorials anyway, because I want to now. lol.
