Even people who live in the U.S. don't necessarily live in New York. Though I guess maybe Occupy Wall Street means Occupying wherever the heck people are occupying, but still... I'm not about to fly to freaking Wall Street.

(Er, not to take away from what you're saying about how offensively U.S.-centric it is, but it's phrased poorly in so many ways...)

It would be better if they talked about the "Occupy" movement, and used "Occupy Wall Street" as the example. I know that there have been some Occupy protests in Canada, which isn't as badly off as the US, some people are still doing in support of the poor in America, or for the poor in Canada.

...what I really wish is that everyone, even and especially my friends, would stop using phrases from Occupy as punchlines to jokes.
