It has been quite a while since Dartz had been able to wear his native style robes on public. He wore them in front of his Doma Warriors, but they'd been too properly intimidated to say anything about them. Yet he had always found them a reassuring comfort, and they blended as much as any of the varied wardrobe choices found on the island, so he had allowed himself the nostalgic outfit. Besides, he mused to himself, I believe I would look far more out of place in a three piece business suit.
Putting off the question of finding a suitable place to stay, he had meandered through the city tiers from the Anaxios up. The semi-circular rings were built not unlike Atlantis had been, he reflected, coming upon the arched entrance to a very large outdoor market.
Considering only a moment, he entered and began strolling through the narrow pathways between stalls overflowing with goods and wares, mostly ignoring the calls of the shopkeepers who advertised loudly.
