yea, i love photojournalistic style and natural light stuff. but i wanted to learn more about manipulating and mastering light, natural or not.
so i decided to jump into some studio work (my friend has a studio here), where i had full control of all aspects of lighting.
this was shot with a tungsten lamp half blacked out, one strobe (studio flash), which creates a really soft but really pure light, and a reflector on her left. and i think it was shot at f5.6 at 1/200, although i don't keep track of that stuff.
i didn't know what the hell a strobe was a week ago. so this was a great opportunity to learn about lighting.
