Aw, wow. Best In-Character Communication, definitely. It's so hard to write because we don't see it often in canon, but this really works without making them lose who they are as characters. Awesome. ^_^

I like that Ianto doesn't want to go testing the "is he, or isn't he?" in this chapter. I like the ease both men have with each other even discussing such mundane things like the universe, life and death, immortality, the Doctor. Just another night on a high rooftop drinking coffee with the one you love. Le sigh. Good to see a new chapter in this series.
