Wow. This was brilliant.

Ianto not liking coffee. Well, if I had to make as much coffee as he does, I guess I wouldn't like it either. But then I've never really liked coffee. Personally I'm more of a hot chocolate girl.

I love how interestingly twisted this Ianto is, and how he's using tea and coffee as metaphors to define himself. It's beautiful and subtle and darkly brilliant.

All your stories reveal so many facets to Ianto's character, and this one is no different. It is ironic that Ianto makes an excellent cup of coffee though he has no love of coffee himself; he makes coffee for Lisa whom he loves; for Jack whom he uses to get into Torchwood; for the team who ignores him and allows him to blend into the background. The last two sentences are so tragic, yet quite believable. Another triumph.
