he's my favorite out of the whole book. he also said something like the mark of an immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of a mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one. and i really like that.
and i don't think that he REALLY was a perve. i think mr. antolini was the character who most reached out to holden and escaped being labeled as a phony by him cause he didn't teach or act the way most people did. holden always made snap judgements on everyone and later he regreted leaving the house because of that, which sort of helped him get out of being uncomfortable around homosexuals and to avoid make accusations like that. iunno, really really good book.
