I miss the days when everyone was on LJ. People actually shared things of substance, along with the silly shit that now shows up on facebook. Too many people are on facebook, it's not as personal. Ah well.
i don't think people can really appreciate livejournal now as we used to almost a decade ago. back then, we got excited and impressed by people's html skills and ways to find random facts & quizzes - now everything is just expected to be there in a nice, little, everything-is-there-easy-to-use package. there's a little bit of sadness in that.
it's just much less personal. No one wants to offend their aquaintences or family on Facebook. Back when it was Live Journal, it was actually limited to your real friends who wanted to know what you were really going through. Life is about change indeed.
