Things That Happened Today:

1. Nickoli, Mom and I went to the Museum of Appalachia and wandered around the restored houses for a couple of hours.
2. I tried a candied herb called Horehound. Yes, you read that correctly.
3. Leslie got a walking cast for her broken foot (broken a few days ago).
4. I got bridal magazines.
5. Nickoli asked me to marry him.

I will be MORE than happy to take all kinds of advice. I went to Bed Bath & Beyond today with N to register, and I was totally overwhelmed. I've never done this wedding thing before, and Mom and I are trying to plan two (one of which has vastly different traditions than the other - including fruitcake as the wedding cake - gag).

Not too much of a tard - we just found out that the 15th of September is the date of the UT-FL football game (it's terrible that we have to plan around UT games, but if we didn't, half my extended family wouldn't show up. I swear.). So we've decided to set it as September 8th. It's a Saturday, and if you wanted to come up Friday night, there's an airport in Knoxville you could fly into, and we could a) find a couch for you to sleep on, or b) find somewhere else for you to stay.

AND PIGEON FORGE IS SO YAY WE GO THERE ALL THE TIME FOR CHEAP CLOTHES!!!!!!
