AX week is now over and we say farewell to all the foreigners who came by to visit ^^/~ It's always a fun couple of weeks and really makes me forget about work now that I take a full two weeks. All the foods certainly does hit the pocketbook, though ( Read more... )

Yeah it is sad.. where we all started out but it's become so irritating we're forcing ourselves to go. I think it's time to just give up on it. :(

Vegas would be fine as long as everyone remembers that NV in the middle of summer is not exactly the most comfortable place. True, most of the time is spent indoors, but we also said that about AX and people still complained that it was hot. ;)

Yarrp. Miji's mom was there over the weekend of June 29-July 2 and it was something like 115°F (46°C) in the shade.

My mom checked the weather, and the day or so after Miji's mom left, it hit high's of 130°F (54.4°C) XD

That might be abnormally hot, but I would imagine temps around 100°F (37.7°C) would not be uncommon.

Yeah, I've been there July and August and both times the temps hit 105-115° F. I was not happy either time. :/
