No one cares if your write anything sad or pouty in your lj, and if they don't read it, they don't read it.

And as for the whole "depending on other people for hapiness" thing, you might want to look into William Glasser--smart guy.
Basically what he says is you can only control your own behavior, and other people can't make you miserable, or make you happy.
