So. Frustrated.

It's like nothing more can go wrong.. but I know it can and probably will:

First problem:

My iron has been very spiteful lately.

next:

I still don't know my left from my right.. Had to recut the sleeves because the pointy part is supposed to point towards the smaller end.

third:

It's too small >_< Atleast no real waste of fabric here, it's just a muslin mock-up.

fourth; and the doozy:

I fudged up the silk painting job. This is before I spill my water basin all over the fabric.

I also tried to use salt to give the green a texture, but i didn't like it..  so I tried to fix it with water, but made it even worse. Fail. Also this is before the second sleeve, in which I forgot to tape it down, making the color bleed all over the place. Couple this with my own clumsiness trying to paint and dripping everywhere BUT where the color was supposed to be.

Apparently silk paints don't need to be ironed in to set. So as of right now; the sleeves are in the washer with some bleach. Let's pray that my fabric doesn't fall apart. I would really rather not have to go and buy more fabric :(

Bleaching crepe does not at all sound like a good idea, but seriously. What can I lose?

edit: In case you were wondering. No, no it didn't work. I had to buy more fabric and re-cut and re gutta another sleeve. Then I spilled all my blue paint all over the sleeve; so I am re-cutting, and re-gutta-ing everything. Again. Seriously I have gotten nowhere in two weeks.
