No way in hell I can get Windower to work with Vista. Tried everything written anywhere and nothing. Blaaaaah.

did u try running it under administrator?

go to properties>compatibility
listened under Privilege Level, check "Run this program as an administrator"

or is ur problem actually running ffxi on vista?

Yeah tried running as admin, tried all windowers (only lite works) without plugins loaded.

FFXI runs "OK" on vista, just not windower, and I'm fairly clueless. ~_~

Open up Mozilla Firefox, when you hit the Play button, wait till the screen almost fades out then switch to Mozilla (has to be maximised). Once you hear the FFXI music switch back and it should be fine. Happened to me and after the first time it worked without Firefox.

It does work that way.. I guess it's something about not being main focus when it comes fullscreen or something like that D:

Which Vista version, and what graphic card?

It works now, I think it's something specifically from windower, or the way Windower makes himself windowed. It's Vista Home Basics 32bit. Hiiiiiiiii Cyriiiii<3
