It seems that's a pretty popular desire lately. To have things go back to the way they "used to be".

I understand it too because I wish I could go back to things in my past sometimes.

But there really is no point in going back. Change isn't bad, hon. It's just different. Maybe it's a good thing that we don't go back because then we put limitations on our lives that we've already known and experienced. If we fine tune our perspectives though we can have similar times like how it used to be. Sometimes the best way to "go back" (or as close as you can get) is to move foreward. And move foreward smiling.

i hear ya.
and ya know, i really hate that feeling of wanting to go back in time. and it's super fucking rare that i feel that. i just felt so desperate right then and didn't know which direction to move in.

thank you for calling me. it was so great to hear your voice. more than that, it was spectacular to have a friend call and check in. i needed that then and you came through. :)
