I'm sorry to hear about your brother and his friend. Christiana is fabulous with head injury treatment stuff. I know firsthand...
I remember when my brother fractured his skull - he appeared to be fine but he was bleeding internally. They took great care of him and he was out in a week. Medical technology impresses me. But yeah, they would wake him up a lot to take his vitals and really took great care of him. It's such a scary thing though.
