Grappling across Gotham's many rooftops, Dick smiled. It felt right to wear the cowl. Although he was a little uncertain and hesitant at first to wear it around Gotham, Dick gradually got used to it.

He looked as if he never wore anything else but the Batman suit. He looked over the ledge of a rooftop that was overlooking all of Gotham. This is all mine now, Dick thought, still smiling to himself.

Dick controlled Gotham's many vigilantes and crime. He controlled placing fear into criminals. And in a way, he sort of controlled Gotham. The power scared him, but he had to get used to it; Bruce was gone and he wasn't ever going to come back.

He sighed, shaking his head before firing his grapple gun and off to fight more crime in Gotham.

Dick/Kory, Roy - back in the Titan Era

"Okay Kory, so why did the chicken cross the street?"

Kory tilted her head and simply looked at Roy with slight confusion. "... What?"

His smile faltered a little before remembering that Tamaranians almost definitely don't have the same jokes as they did. "It's a joke! An Earth joke."

"Oh!" Kory smiles slightly before going into deep thought about it. "I have no idea, I didn't have chickens on Tamaran, so I wouldn't know."

Man, she's making it hard to flirt with her... Roy thought. But before he could explain the joke, Dick strode in next to Kory, wrapping a arm around her waist.

Dick looked from Kory to Roy, then back to Kory. "Um... what are you guys talking about?"

"Roy was telling me a joke."

Roy smirked slightly, looking at Kory and wagging his eyebrows, which made Dick scowl. "Just ignore Roy, Kory. No one ever understands his jokes anyway."

And with that Dick led Kory out of the room, leaving Roy peeved. "People understand my jokes!" He protested under his breath, watching as the Tamaranian beauty walked out with her
