Still reeling from the thesis climax, I found solace at Powell's yesterday evening. After bumping into several PNCA professors in the aisles, I felt like a giddy swamp of nerd -- with a giant stack of glossy Phaidon books to page through without any anxiety about what I should really be doing. mister richie has a fantastic exhibit up WHERE I WORK
one room of the exhibit is a crazy craps table with video projections on it.
when you roll its futuristic dice the whole room changes depending on your roll. this still blows my mind.

and there are holograms and embroideries and it's marvelous

SO JEALOUS! I hope that I can catch that show sometime soon, as it seems to be museum hopping quite a bit. I have the catalog that the Houston Museum of Contemporary Art put out for it.

if you're going to be in nyc before may 21, it's only 20 dollars round trip from chinatown nyc to chinatown philadelphia...

meh. i wil likely be graduating from college on may 22, so ... time is too crunched.

even though i do love double chinatowns.
