You're welcome, and thank you. I kept having the feeling that the poem wasn't clear enough, or was too slow, or something. Your response made me feel a little better about it.
the poem feels like a melody of stirred remembrances, touches of things that consider the past as the steps into the upcoming.
or,
i like it alot.
on joint accounts: as an accountant, it seems to me just so much less important than the emotional deposits and withdrawals in coupling. i understand that it is supposedly money matters that often crumble a relationship ~ but i've always believed, wanted it to be true, that this is only in those relationships where money was the root source of togetherness. for anyone beyond that basis, it's really just the math of the thing and numbers mean pretty much nothing at all.
i am inclined to agree with you that relationships ending because of money issues are, while not necessarily basing togetherness in money entirely, are more dependent upon it more than necessary. thankfully as long as we have enough money for film and coffee we seem to be fine. also, where in florida are you? i'm going to be back mid-december.
