THE OFFICIAL START OF SUMMER--THE POOL IS OPENING

The summer is official here--the pool will be opening tomorrow and I will be poolside to welcome it in. I love the summertime. I should be living in Florida. I love the warmth and the sunshine. Tomorrow our pool opens at 11 am and I will be sitting by the pool at my usual table sunning myself. John will be reading his book and having lunch with me ( Read more... )

Those sound like the best plans ever! Mine will be similar...we are closing the store Sunday and Monday and are taking time for us!

You have to take time for yourself no matter how busy life gets otherwise you will have a meltdown. The pool has been wonderful. I'm looking forward to getting there this Sunday. Memorial Day weekend the water was chilly, last weekend it was much better so I'm sure Sunday should be ok as well. I just know it's supposed to be sunny so I'll sit in the sun at the very least.

John and I have been able to spend the weekends together which has been great. It's nice to be able to come right home from work as well. I'll be teaching tax classes soon, so I'm enjoying the free time now while I have it.

I love the sun. I miss being able to tan myself every day now that I'm working, but I will get out there every chance that I get you can bet on that. I'll be pool side at least once during the weekend. This Sunday is supposed to be warm and sunny. John has studying to do, but I plan on being at the pool. :)

John and I have been able to do a lot lately. The kitties fur has grown in at least an inch since getting them their summer do's. Are your two getting along with each other? How's things going with you in general?

For the most part they seem to get along with each other...sometimes Moxie gets a wild hair and decides to chase or attack Belly but that is rare now.
Getting married on Saturday!
