Harry refused to give Scorpius the satisfaction of ending their relationship. Yet, the finality of Harry's over rehearsed speech twisted his gut into knots as he spoke. But nowhere near as much as seeing Scorpius and some nameless woman from his Advanced Charms course had.
Afterwards, Harry had said nothing for weeks, just looked at the holes and tears in what he'd believed to be his perfect relationship.
Scorpius looked shocked when Harry finished speaking, the cold break-up hanging between them in the air.
"Harry, I…"
"This relationship was a joke, and you’re nothing to me but a punch line."
