Character Name: Vayne Aurelius
Series: Mana Khemia
Timeline: After the last fight with Isolde, and the teacher meeting when he's alone in the work shop. Right when he tells Sulpher he wants to go away.

Character History:
Vayne was created 3 years before he entered the Al-Revis academy for alchemy. He was created by the famous alchemist Theofratus. He didn't know this though until his last year of school, when Isolde tells him.
Before the academy his only companion was his cat Sulpher, who was previously the cat of Theofratus. Due to Vayne not having any memory of his creation, and generally being confused Sulpher is later mistaken as his mana.
Theofratus made Vayne in order to have him grant his wish, which was the wish to die. The minute Vayne awoke he asked for this wish. Vayne though later has no real memory of it; instead his first real memory is talking to Sulpher and asking if he can stay with him. This was their contract and Vayne became Sulphers mana.
They lived in the mountains in Theogratus' old house, alone and together. Most of Vayne's information and guidance came from Sulpher, so some things confused him a lot. (You would be too if you constantly deferred to a cat on what to do.) Zepple found Vayne in the mountains and recruited him to the academy assuming he was Theogratus' son.
In the academy he spent three years learning how to be an alchemist. The first two were enjoyable, and he made friends and experienced a lot of stuff he normally would never have had the chance to. His last year though got really sad. Sulpher was old and ready to die, and one of the teachers Isolde was out to get him. In the end Vayne discovered his ability to grant his own wishes and brought Sulpher back to life.
After nearly killing Isolde, since she attacked him, and remembering that he was the one who granted Theogratus' wish to die, people started treating Vayne differently. They were afraid of him and avoided him. This made him sad, so he wanted to just disappear, but he didn't want to disappear alone. Because he was conflicted and confused, he caused his powers to manifest a personification, another self. His powers tried to grant his wish and almost killed his friends and most the school. In the end though his friends were able to pull him back and he was able to wish his powers away.
Abilites/Special Powers: THE ABILITY TO WISH ANYTHING! Seriously....
He has a few moves in the game, all using his cat Sulpher. He is an alchemist and with the right materials can synth things as well, with the right properties he can make armor or weapons or accessories with powers embedded. Of course without Sulpher he can't fight, or use any of his attack and defense skills, just his wishing power.
Third-Person Sample:
Ever since the disciplinary meeting he was alone. The workshop was empty and the only person with him, like before, was Sulpher. He didn't know it could hurt this much before. He hadn't known what it meant to be alone like this then. But... it was for the best. He was dangerous, the teachers were right to stay away, the other students were right....
He still didn't really understand what was going on though. He wasn't human? He was... a mana? Could he, could he really grant any wish? This was all so scary. He didn't want to hurt anyone, he didn't want to hurt Isolde, or put people in danger, but... he didn't want to be alone again.
"Sulpher..." he said softly. What should he do? Sulpher would know though. Sulpher was always there and could answer the questions. He closed his eyes trying to think of what he wanted. It would be better to leave... to not be here at all.
Sulpher never said anything though. Vayne opened his eyes and discovered he wasn't in the workshop anymore. It was some other room he'd never seen. Was this... had he done this?
"W-where am I?" He looked around slowly. Where was Sulpher? Hadn't Sulpher told him he would stay with him...? Had... had he sent himself away without Sulpher? But... he was truly alone now. It hurt and he started to quietly cry.

Wh, where am I? Did I do this? Did... did I make this? It seems different though... it doesn’t seem like I did. I don't want to be here... I, I don't want to be alone.
Where are you Sulpher...? At least if you were by my side, I could talk to you. I could ask what you thought... I don't know what to do on my own....
