You don't like being the center of attention, you like being at the center of the action. If you were a "center of attention" person, you'd be running for office. Which doesn't mean you won't eventually do that (the best stage managers often do end up onstage, or else start there), but you come at it from an "action" point of view. At least that's what I think of you
